Improved Puking

We have been working on improving the visuals and feel of puking objects. When puking, objects now grow gradually rather than just spawning instantly ahead of you. There is also now a force applied to the object based on how long you hold down the puke button, so you can place objects in front of you or launch them far away.


Start Screen

We have started work on a menu system for the game so you don't just start immediately in a level. So far, we have implemented a simple start screen with a settings page to view controls.


Audio

We have started working on an audio manager to handle our music and various sound effects, like eating, puking, and jumping.

Improved Assets

We have started to implement the textures for models that our art team has been working on, and are continuing to polish the visuals of the game.

Challenges and Obstacles

  • Ensuring the menus work well with both a controller and a mouse.
  • Working with unity physics to make sure object interactions are smooth.
